Pumpkins often appear in Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama’s artworks. Taking the spirit of the summer NGV exhibition Yayoi Kusama direct to community venues, this activity introduces children and families to one of the world’s leading contemporary artists. In this activity, Yayoi Kusama invites children to add their favourite colourful dots to their pumpkins. Gallery staff will provide a range of additional activities inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s artworks.
