Leonie Partridge brings together two intimate bodies of work, small gouache studies and fabric sculptures. Her paintings of teapots and cups celebrate the beauty and simplicity of the everyday ritual of making tea. In a world increasingly shaped by speed, these quiet studies offer a moment of calm – a chance to pause and appreciate the elegance of familiar forms.

Leonie’s small fabric sculptures explore the connections between humanity and the natural world, reflecting an instinctive desire to seek and respond to beauty, rhythm and order. Through layered combinations of pattern, form and stitching, the works establish a sense of rhythm and cohesion that echoes the richness and interconnection of natural systems.

The forms draw on the diversity and wonder of nature. Rather than offering direct representations, they act as evocative responses, encouraging a personal and sensory engagement with colour, structure and pattern.
