Following the successful implementation of Stage 1, it is the Foundation’s long-term aim to unlock the Gallery’s Stage 2 redevelopment. The building plans, prepared by award-winning Williams Boag architects, respect the building’s proud heritage, embrace a dynamic future and will greatly increase Gallery spaces, to help secure its financial future.
Stage 2 will realise multiple commercial opportunities including blockbuster programming, increased retail areas and enhanced venue hire capabilities, with each area delivering much-needed revenue and economic impact to the region.
The Foundation is committed to working in partnership with the Benalla Rural City Council to make Stage 2 a reality.
