Botanical Art, or Illustration, needs tight, contained colour matching and painting skills unlike the freedom of other watercolour subjects like seascapes, landscapes. In this workshop participants will explore the exciting and versatile colours achieved from just 3 primary colours and how to choose the right primaries to create a beautiful botanical. Make up some colour charts, realise their value and learn brush skills in watercolour washes and dry brush work.
This workshop is for watercolour or botanical beginners and those with experience who wish to hone their skills.
