In this workshop, participants will explore abstraction and become aware of how particular art elements can be used to create a painting. Anthea will guide you through the process of responding to a subject, whether it be a place, figure, or memory, and then begin the process of creating an abstract painting. During this workshop, you will be free to explore the qualities of gouache or acrylic paint and have the ability to tap into your imagination through expression. Book in to enjoy abstract painting, expressionism and an afternoon wine!
