Join acclaimed painter, Daniel Butterworth, working with house paints on reclaimed cardboard. Let the experience of working with low-cost materials give you freedom to create your own expressive painting. Gain insights into how Daniel developed his loose, confident and painterly style. Bring along digital images of what or who you’d like to paint.
All materials will be provided. Please BYO lunch.
About the artist
Daniel Butterworth has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Diploma of Education from Latrobe University. He has been painting and exhibiting for over 25 years. He has been selected for many prestigious art awards, including the Archibald Prize; Doug Moran Portrait Prize; Arthor Guy Memorial Painting Prize; and the Paul Guest Drawing Prize. He has also appeared on the ABC’s Portrait Artist of the Year, Australia.
