We welcome back local artist, Jana Brook, as she shares her enthusiasm for and knowledge of watercolours. You will spend the morning learning some watercolour basics and practising various pen and wash techniques. After lunch, you will further explore these techniques, drawing inspiration from natural objects collected by Jana. This workshop is geared towards beginners and those who want to try some new techniques. All materials will be supplied. There will be a lunch break, please BYO lunch or visit the many cafes and bakeries nearby.
About the artist
Jana Brook is an established watercolour artist who for the month of February 2026 is exhibiting paintings in Grounded, an exhibition with Catherine Fuller, at the Benalla Art Gallery Shop. Jana has facilitated sketching groups at Winton Wetlands and has exhibited her pen and watercolour works at Art Gallery on Ovens in Wangaratta.
