Presented as part of the Benalla Festival—celebrating Our Community, Our Future—the Benalla Classical Guitar Ensemble will perform a free 1 hour concert. The group, comprised of five members, will play a mixture of folk, pop and classical music sure to entertain and delight audiences.
The concert in the Ledger Gallery will be immediately followed by the official celebration of Jacqui Stockdale’s exhibition, The Outlaws’ Inn, in the Simpson Gallery.
About Benalla Classical Guitar Ensemble
Founded in 2010, the Benalla Classical Guitar Ensemble is a social group who share a love of the classical guitar. Within a friendly atmosphere, the group meets once a week to play a selection of classical, folk, and popular pieces from around the world. The Ensemble has performed concerts at multicultural festivals, art exhibitions and community events since its foundation. Currently made up of the five members, this will be the Benalla Classical Guitar Ensemble’s first concert in Benalla in three years.
