NAIDOC Week

Friday 3 July, 6—8PM
Pop-Up Benalla Art Gallery

Join Benalla Art Gallery, Benalla Health, Benalla Rural City Council and the artists, to celebrate the launch of NAIDOC Week Benalla. The evening will begin with a Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country by Aunty Nikki James.

Held to coincide with national NAIDOC Week celebrations, this exhibition includes a broad range of works and mediums, showcasing First Nations artists from across the region of all ages, skills and interests. It is a space to share their talents, ideas and cultural heritage.

NAIDOC Week is a time where all Australians are encouraged to celebrate and recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, history and achievements, participating and contributing to the oldest continuing living cultures on earth. Through this exhibition, we honour the theme of NAIDOC 2026: 50 Years Deadly.
