Monday 4 April, 10-11AM

Join us on the first Monday in April for an artist talk by Adrienne Doig, which will close her stunning exhibition, It’s all about me!

Doig will discuss her broad practice and specific works within the exhibition, which span the last three decades and fuse historical references and humour to respond to the everyday and reflect on now.

Doig graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the College of Fine Arts, Sydney (1989), and has a Certificate of Art and Drama from Ryfylke Folkehøgskule, Norway (1983). She has undertaken residencies at the American Academy in Rome (2014), the Moya Dyring studio, Cite des Arts, Paris (2007), the Visual Arts and Crafts Board of the Australia Council studio residency in Milan (2003) and the Austrian Federal Chancellory studio residency in Vienna (2001).

Doig has exhibited in contemporary art spaces and artist-run and commercial galleries in Australia and abroad. She has had solo exhibitions at the Research Library and Archive at the Art Gallery of NSW (2018) and Penrith Regional Gallery (2010).
