Join Gundowring-based artist, Susie Losch, as she talks about the evolution of her art practice over the years. She will explore the concept of play and repetition and the development of ideas into site specific installations.
About the artist
Susie Losch has been living in northeast Victoria, practicing, and exhibiting in solo exhibitions and group shows, community art projects and installations for 30 years. Her practice involves the construction of assemblages and installations from materials that have an intrinsic history.
Influenced by the concept of ‘PLAY’ and the unknown, bodies of work emerge and are constantly evolving. They retain remnant memories, experiences and new observations from time spent travelling and connections between objects while undertaking a sorting process.
