L J BURSTON NAMED FUND
Loi, with her late husband, Mike, moved to the Benalla region more than 60 years ago from the Riverina in NSW. After moving to Benalla and through Mike’s family connections with the Ledgers, they enjoyed Laurie and Erma’s company sharing an interest in Australian art and art collecting. They quickly became involved with the Gallery when it was in Nunn Street and subsequently became Life Members. By establishing a Named Fund, Loi continues to support the Gallery and honours the generosity of the Ledger legacy along with the memory of her husband Mike and his future vision for the Gallery.
