Use bold lines on brightly coloured papers to create your own sea creature. Little Artists will explore the underwater world of starfish, whales, eels, sea urchins and more. Let’s dive in!

Materials: painted cartridge paper and permanent makers

Mat Time: Inspired by NGV’s current exhibition Rififi by Jean Jullien, we will read Jean’s children’s book Who lives in the sea? before creating our own underwater adventure.

Benalla Art Gallery’s Little Artists program is developed specifically for pre-school children. We use games, story-telling and creative activities to encourage young children, and their parents and carers, to have fun while learning about art.

Sessions are free and are scheduled for the first week of each month from February to December.
