In this Little Artists session, participants will learn how to make quick, fun and simple prints. Draw a picture into a thin layer of paint and place paper on top. Rub the back of the paper then peel it back to see how your print looks!
Materials: paint, rollers, trays, acetate sheets, cotton buds, paintbrushes and paper
Definitions and Learnings: This activity encourages exploration and hands on learning through making monoprints.
Ages: For pre-school aged children and their parents/carers

Benalla Art Gallery’s Little Artists program is developed specifically for pre-school children. We use games, story-telling and creative activities to encourage young children, and their parents and carers, to have fun while learning about art.
Sessions are free and are scheduled for the first week of each month from February to December.
