Benalla Art Gallery’s Little Artists program is developed specifically for pre-school aged children. We use games, story-telling and creative activities to learn about art.

In this session, Little Artists will look at Tony Lloyd’s paintings of mountains in the Bennett Gallery and see how parts of his images are used twice. We will look at halves and doubles, and discover how these can be used to make artworks. Children will then create their own painting that might be a face or a landscape reflected in the water, or something else altogether.

Materials:
Paint, paper, brushes, stamps
