Friday 1 August, 10—10.45AM
In this Little Artists session, participants will explore sensory sculpture making. When you touch, smell, see, taste or hear something, you are using one of your senses. A sensory sculpture is a sculpture that uses your senses. You might be able to see it, hear it or smell it!
Participants will be guided to use a range of materials, liquids, household items, and ingredients to make a vibrant, interesting and playful sculpture. Participants will seek inspiration from artworks in the Gallery to create a sculpture that expresses some of their experiences of these artworks or how they look.
Materials: Scissors, tape, plasticine or sticky tack, bottle, water, food colouring, coloured card or paper, foil, recycled objects, beads, marbles, glitter.

Benalla Art Gallery’s Little Artists program is developed specifically for pre-school children. We use games, story-telling and creative activities to encourage young children, and their parents and carers, to have fun while learning about art.
