Each summer the National Gallery of Victoria [NGV] works with regional galleries to offer FREE art activities to children and their families. Kids can explore the works of NGV artists then create their own art. To find out more, visit NGV Melbourne/Kids.
Benalla Art Gallery and NGV will provide a range of activities that are inspired by the Swiss-born artist, Olaf Breuning. Olaf is an artist who lives in the Catskill Mountains near New York City with his family. He loves to explore the forest around his home, gathering pieces of wood to make colourful woodblock paintings inspired by nature. We will make block prints with nature inspired motifs, in addition to activities provided by the NGV.
Ages: 5-12
