PUNARJI GUNARATNE AND FAMILY
Supporting the Benalla Art Gallery is something deeply personal for Punarji Gunaratne and his family. Having migrated from Sri Lanka, Punarji is proud to call Benalla home. He lives in the township with his partner, Alice Crichton, and their daughters, Esme and Nangi. Both Esme and Nangi are growing up with a wonderful love of arts and crafts.
As President of the Benalla Migrants Association and an elected Councillor, Punarji is committed to Benalla’s diversity and wellbeing. He sees the Gallery as an inclusive cultural space, one that celebrates community, nurtures creativity, and connects people. Through his Named Fund, Puna feels proud to be contributing to its future.
