Rebecca Scibilia has been a practising artist at Arts Project Australia (APA) since 1999. Working in acrylic paint and markers, she builds bright, layered compositions in saturated colour. Her subjects come from the things she loves: films, television, books and the places she has travelled. Some works pair figures with text and witty phrases. Others, built from dense strokes, give way to expressive fields of colour.

Her solo exhibitions include Japan Photo Book (The Substation, Melbourne, 2024); 4 x 4 (APA Gallery, Melbourne, 2021), and The Famous Five (Suite 7A, Sydney, 2019). Rebecca has exhibited in numerous group shows and art fairs, including at Project Ability Gallery (Glasgow, 2014); Melbourne Art Fair (2008-2025); and Neon Parc (Melbourne, 2013). Her work is held in the Leeuwin Estate Collection in Western Australia, as well as in corporate and private collections.
