Over APA’s history, the quality of its exhibitions and artwork created in its studio has flourished, fed by a range of innovative programs and activities.

About Munro & Sargeant

Inspired by the architects behind the Benalla Art Gallery – Colin Munro and Philip Sargeant, who were widely celebrated for their commitment to design and architecture – Munro and Sargeant offers relaxed dining set above Lake Benalla. Nestled among three stunning exhibition galleries within the Benalla Art Gallery, Munro and Sargeant offers a menu which has a focus on local and seasonal wines and produce.

Taking further inspiration from the café’s namesakes, contemporary design has been further embedded into the café offering through the activation of this unconventional exhibition space in a unique partnership with Benalla Art Gallery and the progressive cultural leaders at Arts Project Australia.
