Pine, sage, forest, lime, mint, olive, jade are just a few of the many hues of green that you will explore in this one-day workshop that will focus on drawing and painting botanicals using the Benalla Botanical Gardens as inspiration.
Participants will spend a short time investigating and drawing plant shapes prior to working in the Gallery studio.
Janet will teach nuances of colour mixing with acrylic paint, creating instructional swatches of green hues and how best to work with this somewhat challenging colour, before developing a botanically inspired painting.
There will be a lunch break from 12.15 to 1PM and a fifteen minute break at 2.30PM.
