Benalla Art Gallery welcomes Danny Lacy who will talk about his background, the line-up for 2025 at Shepparton Art Museum and their Hermannsburg works that Benalla Art Gallery will borrow for an upcoming exhibition in June.
About the speaker
Danny is currently Artistic Director at Shepparton Art Museum. Over the past 25 years he has had an active curatorial practice within a range of Victorian based public galleries, most recently as Director at Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery. Previous positions have included Director at West Space, Curator at Shepparton Art Museum, Program Administrator at Monash University Museum of Art and Installation & Project Co-ordinator at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art. He completed a MA (Visual Culture) from Monash University and undertook an Asialink Arts Management residency in Singapore in 2015.
