The Power of Drawing White on Black

Join artist Kate Jenvey in this drawing workshop and explore a different way of creating images. Kate is a professional artist working in oil, graphite and coloured pencils with nature as her inspiration.
Using only a white pencil on black paper learn how to use the dark of the paper for shadow areas, and which details to leave in and out. This way of drawing can be quick as not as many layers are needed to build up the image, and can be easier as there are no colours to choose.
