Wet Felting: Saturday 26 February, 12-4PM
Nuno Felting: Saturday 5 March 12-4PM

Tutor: Annie Longmuir

In this series of workshops Annie will guide participants through the art of felting. The first workshop will explore wet felting, which is the process of connecting or blending wool, wool roving, or fibre together to make a fabric.

In week two participants will develop their skills in Nuno felting. Nuno is a Japanese word meaning cloth. The technique bonds loose fibre, usually wool, into a sheer fabric such as silk gauze, creating a lightweight felt.

Both workshops are suitable for any skill level. Each participant is to bring two old towels and a re-usable plastic bag to carry their wet materials home.

Annie Longmuir is a prolific artist and felter based in Benalla.
